Simple Cauliflower Spread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cauliflower, cooked
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 10 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Mince the garlic using a garlic press and place into a bowl. Add the lemon juice and let it sit for a bit. This helps make the garlic “linger” in your mouth less.
  • Place all the remaining into a food processor and pulse on high speed until desired consistency. I like to pulse mine for somewhere between 20-30 seconds as I like when the spread has some cauliflower chunks still in it. If you are making a dip, and want it much smoother, just pulse for longer.
  • Once the desired consistency is achieved, stir in the garlic and lemon mixture. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
