Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 400g can chickpeas
  • 1 tsp tahini
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Rinse the chickpeas in cold water and set aside a handful for decoration. Place the rest of the chickpeas in a food processor, add the tahini, garlic, salt, oil, lemon juice, water, paprika and oregano and blend until smooth.
  • Once smooth and combined, transfer it into a serving dish, drizzle with some extra virgin olive oil and decorate with a handful of whole chickpeas.
