Easy Strawberry Jam (No Pectin & Small Batch)

Servings: 1 jar


  • 300 g strawberries
  • 100 g golden caster sugar
  • 1/2 lime, juice only
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cornflour


  • Place strawberries in a pan and mash with a fork, add sugar, vanilla extract and lime juice.
  • Bring to the boil then simmer on low heat for 10 minutes then add cornflour and stir quickly.
  • Simmer for 5 more minutes, take off the heat and transfer into a sterilised jar.
