This smoothie bowl is made with super simple ingredients. The base is made out of banana, almond milk and avocado.
I tend to eat my smoothie bowls after I go to the gym so I add peanut butter to make it slightly higher in protein (as well as fibre, vitamin E, magnesium and phosphorous) and I use raw cacao powder which is high in arginine, an amino acid, helping to regulate blood pressure and aid in recovery of muscles.
Chocolate Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 200 ml almond milk
- 1 large banana
- 1/2 large avocado
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth, for around 30-60 seconds.
- Transfer into a bowl and decorate with your favourite fruit, nuts or granola. Enjoy!
