This recipe makes around 8 fluffy vegan American style pancakes.
Vegan American style pancakes
- 1½ cups plain flour
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1½ cups soya milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until smooth. If the batter is too thick, add more milk until you get the desired consistency.
- Heat a non stick pan over medium heat and lightly coat with oil. Pour a ladle of batter, wait until the top of the pancake begins to bubble, then flip it over. Cook until both sides are golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve immediately.
