Simple dairy-free, nut-free and gluten-free cheese sauce.
This is a mild, kid-friendly sauce with a creamy, velvety texture. It is perfect for nachos, dipping tortilla chips or stirring into steamed veggies such as cauliflower or broccoli for a delicious side dish.
- 3/4 cup soya milk
- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- Put all of the ingredients into a small saucepan and stir to combine. Turn on the heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Simmer on low heat for about a minute or until the sauce is thick and stretchy.
- This vegan cheese sauce can be enjoyed with crisps, nachos, over pasta and many many other savoury dishes!
