Vegan salted date caramel. Perfect poured on sponge puddings, ice cream, in coffees or, if you’re like me, just grab a spoon and eat it straight out of the jar. It’s worth the calories.
This caramel sauce is:
- Naturally sweetened
- Slightly salty
- To die for!

Easy 5 Minute Date Salted Caramel
- 200 g pitted dates, Medjojol work best but others will work too
- 130 ml plant milk
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp smooth peanut or almond butter
- Place all of the ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth. Taste and add more salt if required.
- Store in the fridge in an airtight container and consume within 4 days.
